Access Weighsoft alternatives in the UK: 4 options compared for 2026
Disclosure: Linkoper publishes this page and sells one of the products in it. Linkoper is listed first because it is our product; the order is not a ranking. Facts about other vendors carry a numbered source you can check. "Not stated" means we did not find it on their public pages, not that the product lacks it. Recommendations are our own judgement.
Collected on 1 November 2026 from each company's public website and the other sources listed. Most of this is what vendors say about themselves, which we have not tested, and it may have changed or be incomplete. Confirm anything important with the vendor. If something here is wrong, tell us at info@linkoper.com and we will correct it.
The short answer
No single product replaces all of Access Weighsoft, because it combines weighbridge, waste, aggregates and ready-mix. For ready-mix dispatch, start with Linkoper, our own product, or look at Command Alkon if you also want batch control from one vendor. For the weighbridge side, look at Avery Weigh-Tronix Weighman 8 or Weightron Bilanciai.
- Split your needs first: ready-mix dispatch and weighbridge are different products in most cases.
- None of the alternatives here is a like-for-like suite, and we say so where it matters.
- Weighsoft publishes a starting price (from £340 per user per month), which makes comparison easier than with most vendors.
- Linkoper makes this page and is one of the options. It is not a weighbridge system.
What Access Weighsoft offers
Access Weighsoft is sold by The Access Group. It was previously sold as Isys Weighsoft, and The Access Group's acquisition of Isys was announced in October 2021, which is why older listings still use that name.[1][2]
The suite has modules for weighbridge, skip and roll-on/roll-off hire, trade waste, materials and aggregates, ready-mix concrete and hazardous waste, with driver apps and optional customer portals.[3][4]
Its core strength is the weighbridge, with automatic capture from manned and unmanned sites, and it says it integrates with over 20 finance packages, including Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.[5][6]
Where Linkoper fits
- Smart dispatch. Linkoper generates a delivery plan from approved orders, with route optimisation built on Google OR-Tools, multi-depot routing and large orders split into truck-sized trips. You preview plan metrics, conflicts and unassigned orders before saving, then adjust on a visual planner in day, week or month views.[7]
- Order processing. Customers or your team place orders with several products, several dates, or daily, weekly and monthly recurring schedules, and each product can have its own questions and validation. Customer orders go through supplier approval, with changes and cancellations in controlled states.[7]
- Delivery notes and invoices. When a load completes, Linkoper issues a numbered PDF delivery note with the delivered quantity and proof of delivery, such as an on-screen signature and photos, and customers can approve it by email. The driver app keeps working offline. Invoices are created from the order, prefilled with the delivered quantity, with VAT and automatic numbering.[7]
- Pumps alongside trucks. Register your own and external pumps, see which fit an order by boom reach or hose distance and availability, and schedule them per order as you plan deliveries. Your own pumps are booked directly, double-booking is blocked, and external pumps go through an approval step by email. Pump bookings sit alongside truck loads and do not move with them automatically.[7]
- A published price. Starter is $799 per month for one plant with unlimited trucks, drivers and users, including customer ordering and invoicing. Multi-plant Enterprise is by quote, and links to batch, ERP or accounting systems are quoted per project.[8]
- A choice of deployment. Run it as SaaS, or on private cloud or on-premise on the Enterprise plan, by quote.[7][8]
Linkoper does not control batch plants and has no pre-built connectors for them. Orders and tickets reach your batch system through the API, exports or manual entry, and a project-specific link is quoted separately. If you want batching and dispatch from one vendor, look at the full-stack vendors, and check which of them sell their own lab quality control.
Reasons you might compare alternatives
We have no data on why customers leave. These are points from public sources worth checking, not a verdict on the product. We do not quote reviews.
Ready-mix depth
A G-Cloud document describes the ready-mix module as for volumetric operators and says it can also link to batching plants. The current product page talks about load dispatch that integrates with batching plants. A central-batch producer should ask how deep dispatch goes.[9][10]
Batch system integration
The ready-mix page says it integrates with batching plants but does not name them, so confirm your system.[10]
Contract and implementation
The vendor's comparison page quotes 6 to 12 weeks for implementation, and its pricing page refers to a 3-year initial term as well as annual agreements. Clarify which applies to you.[6][3]
A suite that also covers waste
Our view: much of the suite serves waste operators. A concrete-only producer should check how much of it they would use, and compare on the ready-mix workflow alone.

The alternatives in detail
Linkoper
We make Linkoper, so read this entry with that in mind. It is order-to-delivery software for ready-mix, asphalt and construction-materials transport companies, founded in 2024 in Prishtina, Kosovo.[7] It covers smart dispatch, order processing, delivery notes and invoices, pump operations, a driver app, a customer portal and delivery reporting.[7]
Strengths
- Delivery plans generated from approved orders, with multi-depot route optimisation, a preview before saving and a visual planner.[7]
- Multi-product, multi-date and recurring orders, with per-product questions and controlled approval states.[7]
- Delivery notes issued when a load completes, with on-screen signature and photos, and a driver app that works offline.[7]
- Own and external pumps scheduled per order, with supplier approval for external ones.[7]
- A published starting price, with unlimited trucks, drivers and users for one plant on Starter.[8]
- Delivery reports such as truck cycle time, load fill rate, first-load punctuality and waiting time.[7]
- SaaS on Starter, with private cloud or on-premise on the Enterprise plan, by quote.[7][8]
- A single-plant rollout typically takes two to four weeks, depending on size and scope.[7][8]
Limitations
- It does not control batch plants and has no pre-built batch plant connectors, so you keep your plant system alongside it. Several other products here make batch control or name systems they connect to.[7]
- No laboratory quality control, raw-material inventory, plant production reporting or integrated payments.[7]
- No pre-built accounting or ERP connectors, and no credit checking. Links run through the REST API and exports and are quoted per project.[7][8]
- Pump bookings sit alongside truck loads and do not move with them automatically, so a dispatcher updates them if a delivery changes.[7]
- The pump module is off until a company switches it on.[7]
- Driver location comes from the driver app; there is no telematics hardware, truck sensor or engine data.[7]
- A much younger company than the long-established vendors here, founded in 2024.[7]
Best for: Single-plant producers who want a published price, and multi-plant producers who accept an Enterprise quote, in the EU, the UK or the US, who keep their batch system and want ordering, planning, dispatch, tickets and a customer portal in one product.
Ask them: Ask us how orders and delivery data would reach your batch and accounting systems, because that is scoped per project through the API and exports.
Command Alkon
Command Alkon sells software for ready-mix, concrete products, asphalt, aggregates and cement producers from its headquarters in Hilliard, Ohio.[18] Its ready-mix range covers cloud Dispatch, COMMANDseries, batch automation, fleet tracking, quality control, a customer portal and accounts receivable.[19]
Strengths
- Its own products cover batch, dispatch, fleet, quality control, portal and receivables, so one vendor can supply most of the ready-mix stack.[19]
- Offices on several continents, relevant for producers operating across borders.[18]
- When using its on-premise batch controllers, a plant keeps batching locally during an internet outage.[15]
- Open API towards ERP systems, third-party tools and IoT devices.[14]
Things to check
- Prices are not published, so you need a sales conversation to get a number.[14]
- A Command Alkon blog post gives 31 December 2026 as the end of support for Integra, and says this does not force an immediate shutdown. Integra users have a decision to make.[26]
- Its pages describe ERP and accounting integration through open APIs but name no packages, so ask about yours.[14]
Best for: Multi-plant or multi-country producers who want batch, dispatch, fleet and quality control from one large vendor, and who are comfortable with a sales-led purchase.
Ask them: What will the modules you actually need cost over three years? If you run Integra, what is the migration path and who pays for it?
Avery Weigh-Tronix Weighman 8
Weighman 8 is weighbridge software for quarry, waste and logistics operations, with manned and unmanned operation and accounting integration.[23]
Strengths
Things to check
- It is weighbridge software, and ready-mix dispatch is not stated.[23]
Best for: Quarry and aggregates sites where the main job is weighing and ticketing rather than planning concrete deliveries.
Ask them: How would orders and truck planning work alongside it? Do you offer a customer portal or a driver app?
Weightron Bilanciai
Weightron Bilanciai, in Chesterfield, supplies weighbridges plus weighbridge software, including WinWeigh IV and the cloud-based Centrix, which connect to ERP and business systems.[24][25]
Strengths
- Weighbridge hardware and software from one UK supplier.[24]
- Software connects to ERP and business systems.[25]
Things to check
- Ready-mix dispatch is not stated.[24]
Best for: Sites that also need weighbridge hardware and want one UK supplier for both.
Ask them: Which of your software products fits my site? What covers orders, trucks and customers?
When staying with Access Weighsoft makes sense
- You run weighbridge, waste and aggregates or concrete together, and want them in one system.
- You depend on automatic capture from manned and unmanned weighbridges.
- You already use Access finance or HR products.
- Your concrete work suits the way its ready-mix module operates.
How to plan a move from Access Weighsoft
Changing dispatch software is mainly a planning and data job. This order of work reduces the risk, whichever product you choose.
1. List what the system really does for you
Write down each job your current system performs, who uses it and which other systems depend on it. Include batch tickets, invoicing exports and reports that someone rebuilds by hand each month. This list, not a feature brochure, is what you compare against.
2. Separate must-haves from habits
Mark the items you cannot run a day without, such as sending orders to the batch panel or exporting to accounting. Everything else is negotiable. Producers often find that some features they pay for are barely used.
3. Test the integrations first
Ask each vendor to show your batch system and accounting package connected, not just listed on a logo page. If a connection would be custom work, get the scope and the cost in writing before you compare prices.
4. Decide what data moves
Customers, sites, products and mix or product codes usually need to move. Open orders need a cut-over plan. Old tickets may only need to stay accessible, so check how long you must keep them and in what form.
5. Run a real day in parallel
Before you switch off the old system, plan and dispatch a real day in the new one, ideally at one plant. Include your busiest pattern, such as a large pour with several trucks, and have a driver and a customer try their side.
6. Compare the three-year cost
Add subscription, per-user or per-truck fees, hardware, implementation, integrations and the staff time for training and data clean-up. Check the contract term and notice period too, because they decide how easily you can change your mind.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the best alternative to Access Weighsoft in the UK?
- It depends on which part you use. For ready-mix dispatch, compare Command Alkon and Linkoper. For the weighbridge, compare Avery Weigh-Tronix Weighman 8 and Weightron Bilanciai. No product here replaces the whole suite. Linkoper publishes this page, so verify the sources.
- How much does Access Weighsoft cost?
- The Access Group's pricing page lists industry modules from £340 per user per month, with an example of 5 users from £1,707 per month. The same page also describes pricing as entity-based and mentions both a 3-year term and annual agreements, so ask for a written quote.
- Is Access Weighsoft the same as Isys Weighsoft?
- Yes. It was previously sold as Isys Weighsoft. The Access Group's acquisition of Isys was announced in October 2021, and the product is now sold as Access Weighsoft. Some review sites and older pages still use the Isys name.
- Does Linkoper replace a weighbridge system?
- No. Linkoper covers ordering, planning, dispatch, delivery tickets, a customer portal and delivery reporting. It is not a weighbridge system, so a site that needs weighbridge capture would keep separate software for it.
- Which UK alternatives handle ready-mix dispatch?
- In this comparison, Command Alkon and Linkoper do. The weighbridge products do not state ready-mix dispatch on the pages we read. Command Alkon lists a UK office, but we found no current public UK customer list, so ask for UK references.
- Does Linkoper work for UK readymix producers?
- Yes. Linkoper works in cubic metres, supports customer ordering and digital delivery tickets, and has a dedicated UK page. Its price is published in US dollars, so ask for a sterling quote.
