Dispatch Board
Every truck, every pump and every plant on one board
And a short list of what needs you now. Built for the dispatcher's day: plan, confirm, move and follow every load on one screen.
What is a concrete dispatch board?
A dispatch board is the dispatcher's live view of the day: which truck carries which load, from which plant, at what time. Linkoper's board adds the pump jobs and each plant's capacity per hour, and keeps a list of the orders and loads that need a decision.
Lining up pumps and trucks
Loads and pump jobs together
Each truck has its own lane, and the pump jobs for the same orders appear on the board next to them.
Needs a pump
Upcoming orders that ask for a pump but have none assigned appear in the Needs action list, ready to be given a pump.
Spacing from the pour rate
Work out the gap between trucks from the pump's pour rate with the free truck spacing calculator, then place the loads.
Drag and drop
Move a load to another truck or time by dragging it. Loads that are already under way stay where they are.
What else is on the board
Plant capacity per hour
Each plant has a capacity lane with its opening hours, its busiest hour and the loads that fall outside opening times.
Drafts to confirm
Unconfirmed loads are shown apart as drafts, with a Confirm action. They don't count towards planned quantity, plant capacity or the board's figures until they are confirmed.
Delayed loads flagged
A late load gets a delay flag with the minutes late and a reason, and stays on its route so the driver can finish the delivery.
The same numbers everywhere
Ordered quantity, loads, trucks out and Needs action are worked out once and shown the same way on the Home dashboard and on the board.
Plant filter and plant-level access
Filter the board by plant. People who are limited to certain plants only see those plants' orders and loads.
The Needs action list
Requests waiting for a reply, change requests, orders not planned yet and orders that need a pump are counted at the top of the board. Open the list, deal with each item, and the count goes down.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can the board space truck arrivals from the pump's pour rate?
Not automatically yet. Use the free truck spacing calculator to get the interval from the pump's pour rate and the truck size, and place the loads on the board at that spacing.
Can I move a load by hand after auto-planning?
Yes. Drag a load to another truck or time. Loads that are already under way can't be moved, so a truck on the road is never planned twice.
What is a draft load?
A load that nobody has confirmed yet. Drafts are shown apart with a Confirm action and don't count towards the board's figures or plant capacity until they are confirmed.
Can a dispatcher see only their own plant?
Yes, on the Enterprise plan for companies with several plants. An admin limits a person to one or more plants, and the board, the Loads list, orders and reports then only show those plants.
