What is an e-invoice?
An e-invoice is an invoice in a structured format that the customer's software reads without anyone retyping it, such as XRechnung, Factur-X/ZUGFeRD or Peppol UBL. More and more European countries require e-invoices between businesses, each on its own timetable.
Formats
Factur-X / ZUGFeRD
A PDF that people can read, with the invoice data embedded inside it as XML (PDF/A-3).
XRechnung
The German structured invoice format, available as a download for each invoice.
Peppol
Invoices sent through the Peppol network as Peppol UBL, with the sending status shown on the invoice. Peppol sending is set up per company during onboarding.

Which e-invoice formats does Linkoper support?
Factur-X/ZUGFeRD as a PDF with embedded XML, XRechnung as a download, and Peppol UBL for sending through the Peppol network.
Can Linkoper send invoices through Peppol?
Yes. Linkoper sends invoices as Peppol UBL through its Peppol access point provider and shows the sending status on the invoice. Sending is set up per company: your company needs a Peppol ID, and so does each customer that receives e-invoices.
When is e-invoicing mandatory?
It depends on the country and the timetables keep changing. Check the official source for your country above. We help you set up the format your customers ask for.
Do pump and surcharge lines appear on the invoice?
Yes. Completed pump jobs, waiting time and surcharges come from the order and appear as their own lines next to the concrete or asphalt.
Is e-invoicing an extra module?
No. E-invoicing is included in both Starter and Enterprise.
