Pump Management

Pumps and trucks, planned as one pour

Book your own, external or partner pumps on the order itself, see them on the dispatch board next to the trucks, and let the pump partner confirm the job. One order, one schedule, one invoice.

What is concrete pump scheduling software?

Concrete pump scheduling software books a boom pump, line pump or truck-mounted mixer pump for a pour and lines it up with the truck mixers that bring the concrete. In Linkoper the pump is part of the order: the order says whether a pump is needed, how far it has to reach and when it should be on site, and the same order carries the truck loads, the delivery notes and the invoice.

How a pump job runs in Linkoper

The order holds the pump need. The pump and the truck loads are planned for the same time on site, and the pump price lands on the same invoice.

  1. 01

    Order with a pump need

Pump needed, minimum boom length and time on site are part of the order.

  2. 02

    Pumps that fit

Linkoper lists the pumps that reach far enough and are free at that time.

  3. 03

    Partner confirms

Your own pumps are booked directly. A partner confirms by link or in the partner portal.

  4. 04

Loads planned for the same time

The truck loads for the order are planned for the same time on site, and the board shows both.

  5. 05

    On site and pumping

A pump can only be marked as arrived on a confirmed job.

  6. 06

    One invoice

The completed pump job is invoiced on the order, next to the concrete.

Everything about the pump, on the order

From the first request to the invoice, the pump is handled in the same place as the concrete and the trucks.

The pump is on the order

The order records whether a pump is needed, the minimum boom length and when the pump should be on site. The pump is part of the order, not a phone call next to it.

Pumps that fit the order

For each order Linkoper lists the pumps you can use and marks each one: fits, larger than needed, too short, or not free at that time. Reach comes from the boom length or line distance you keep for each pump.

Own, external and partner pumps

Book your own pumps directly. External pump companies and invited pump partners get the job by link or in their own partner portal, and see the rate card you agreed with them.

Next to the trucks on the dispatch board

Pump jobs appear on the dispatch board next to the truck loads for the same order. Orders that need a pump and have none show up in the Needs action list as "Needs a pump".

The pump board

See every pump's day or week on one board. Drag an order that needs a pump onto a pump, or drag a job to another pump or time. Jobs waiting for the partner and jobs that overlap are marked.

Confirmation before arrival

A partner confirms the job, proposes another time or declines. A pump can only be marked as arrived on a confirmed job, so the board never shows a pump on site that nobody booked.

Pump mode for operators

Pump operators use the driver app in pump mode: they see the jobs for their pump and send the signed job report from site.

Pump prices on the invoice

Pump price rules feed the quick-order price, and completed pump jobs are invoiced on the order next to the concrete, waiting time and surcharges. A credit note copies the lines it corrects.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I use pumps I don't own?

Yes. Register external pump companies and invite pump partners. They receive the job by link or in their own partner portal, confirm it, propose another time or decline, and see the rate card you agreed with them.

  • What happens if the pump partner doesn't confirm?

The job stays marked as waiting for the partner on the pump board, and the pump cannot be marked as arrived. If the partner declines, the dispatcher sees it and can book another pump.

  • What happens to the pump when an order moves?

When an order moves to a new time, jobs on your own pumps move with it and partners are asked to confirm the new time. If a pump is already taken at the new time, the job stays where it was and the dispatcher is told.

  • How far apart should trucks arrive for the pump?

It depends on the pump's pour rate and the truck size. A pump placing 30 m³ an hour empties an 8 m³ truck mixer in about 16 minutes, so trucks should arrive roughly that far apart. The free truck spacing calculator does the sum for you.

  • Is pump management an extra module?

No. Pump management, the pump board and the pump partner portal are included in both Starter and Enterprise. Each company switches the pump module on when it needs it.

  • Do you work with Concretex360?

Yes. Concretex360 is a software partner for companies whose main business is pump rental. Linkoper's pump module is for producers and hauliers that plan pumps together with their concrete orders.
